Importing drawing templet

Does anyone have knowledge about importing drawing templets into Albre? I have several drawing templets created in AutoCAD and would like to be able to import them into Albre. Is it possable?

I have never imported Autocad drawings for a template, but I would imagen that you could. One thing that I have noticed is that a lot of the fonts imported are screwed up. They end up being really big. Maybe that has to do with the way that my old AutoCad template was setup.

Autocad drawings for a template

I 8) n the drawing workspace use the import option, with the option dwg file. Save the drawing to a repository. When you create a new drawing use the option Template and search the file in the repository.

The templates of AUTOCAD that have attributes are recognized in Alibre, the attributes are converted to field text.

 The tip is edit the file of AutoCAD in Alibre to config the names of the attributes and the default text.

 OTHER TIP
No use the option copy to create the field text. Make one for one, to you do not have problems.
