Deserves to be nominated as "Best Short Documentary" in the upcoming film awards.

I've done this exact operation on real pipe hundreds of times over the course of a lot of years, sometimes it worked out as nicely as shown, sometimes it didn't.

That is a cursor highlight effect applied by Camtasia Studio.

This is a very cool trick Ralf. I'm just guessing but one would be able to use their SAT surfaces to split/trim a model as well. Very helpful to weldment and mold designers.

OT: If interested in I made a script a while back that does the opposite of that mouse program. It dims everything slightly except around the mouse. Very short code and fully customizable. http://www.autohotkey.com/forum/topic36066.html
