Outstanding illustration Ralf!!

Deserves to be nominated as "Best Short Documentary" in the upcoming film awards.

I've done this exact operation on real pipe hundreds of times over the course of a lot of years, sometimes it worked out as nicely as shown, sometimes it didn't. :)

Yes I also found it very informative and something I will be using.


One question though...how do I get a mouse cursor like that one . :eek:

This is a very cool trick Ralf. I'm just guessing but one would be able to use their SAT surfaces to split/trim a model as well. Very helpful to weldment and mold designers.

OT: If interested in I made a script a while back that does the opposite of that mouse program. It dims everything slightly except around the mouse. Very short code and fully customizable. http://www.autohotkey.com/forum/topic36066.html
