Installing Alibre on XP bootcamp Mac offline??

Hi Guys

Just woundering if you could help as have tried to load Alibre on my laptop (mac bootcamp Using XP) at home using the key generator (as dont go online with it )to give code for my 3rd install , but come up with application error :

the application failed to initialize correctly (oxc0000135) press ok to terminate.

And cant see anywhere to enter long code if needed.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Have just looked sys requirements and noticed xp sp3 is required and i only have sp2 installed , i guess this is the first thing to try :roll:

( Not too hopefull but could be it )

If that doesn't work, I've been able to install Alibre running in a virtual machine (Parallels/VMware), using my Bootcamp partition as the VM. At least that way you're accessing the internet thru your Mac rather than direct, although that probably doesn't make much of a difference security-wise. Alibre's strategy seems to allow for the same license to work whether you direct-boot into Windows, or boot into your Bootcamp partition thru a virtual machine.
