Intersection of a curved surface and a plane

I am trying to get the Intersection of a curved surface and a plane on a sketch without any luck.
Using Project to Sketch with the sketch on the plane does not give the intersection, but projects the extremes as seen on the plane.
Maybe it is just too late at night, but I am stuck.
Who can help me?

Are you in a 3D sketch? In a 3D sketch Project to Sketch should give you the intersection of surfaces. It won't work for an intersection of a surface and a plane.

I think you need to create a Precise 3D Section view using that plane. If I remember correctly those can be projected to sketch figures with maintain assassination.

Thanks for the tips. I will try them out today.

*** EDIT *** FYI,
Projecting from a Precise 3D Section View works fine.
Projecting to a 3D Sketch gives the same, not wanted, result as to a 2D sketch.
I am fine now, I have a solution.
Thanks for the tip Nate, I would have never thought that would work (neither would I have thought to try it either).
I was preparing myself to make microscopic slits in the solid and projecting from the edges, but was worried that the slicer for the 3D printer might not like the slits even though it usually ignores internal features smaller than 0.05. Projecting from the Section view is much better.
