Is there a way to turn off the maintenance renewal nag? [Yes]

As a long time Alibre user (they were in single digit versions when I first tried Alibre) I have kept up over years with the maintenance plan.
Now that I am retired it is no longer in my budget.
For my spare time projects I will be staying with 21 forever.
How can I turn off the renewal nag?

Don,
I think that the prestigious publicity that you have given to alibre with your watches would give you access to a special price, but if you have stopped using it for another program, you should just not renew your maintenance and the program will continue to work forever with just once a month reactivate it via internet or without internet following the tutorial in this link:

Hi Don,

Alibre Home -> Utilities -> Licensing and Updates -> Change update options:
Select: Do not check for updates automatically

Other than that, you can't turn anything off.

If I recall, there should be a small "i" icon somewhere on that line. If you click it, I believe the reminder will go away. Can you screenshot your Home Window? I'd check this now but am super busy with prerelease stuff.

Hi Don,

According to the hint of Max:
Alibre Home - At the lower right corner, there is an X

Maintenance-message.png

After clicking on the X, the note about the expired maintenance is away.

No-X.png

This setting is saved in your user profile.

If you reset your user profile, the message will be shown again and you will have to click on the X again.

Thanks for the hint Max.
