Laser Cutting.

I have designed some things in ALibre Atom #D for 3D printing, and I have just bought a laser cutter. Can I, and if so, how, can I convert the .PRT drawings in Alibre to laser readable formats, that retain the original dimensions.
Thanks!

Laser cutters are often driven by DXF (or other 2D file format).

Create a 2D drawing in Atom3D from your part with view scale at 1:1 (I'd suggest use a blanks sheet to avoids lots of extra lines). Export the finished drawing as DXF (or other format that the laser software will read). If using DXF, you may find that an older version of DXF is more compatible.

I aslo use a competing brand of CAD software that allows you to click on a face and export that face as a DXF file. Very handy and quick. Perhaps Alibre could consider adding a similar feature.
