Layer Selection
Hi,
When working on a drawing, one must enter 6 clicks to change the current layer: File --> Properties --> Layers --> (select layer) --> Apply --> Close
Also, there is no visual indicator of which layer is currently selected.
Preferred enhancement (off the top of my head): A toolbar which has an icon (or some other representation) of each layer and allows one-click selection of the current layer. The currently selected layer will be highlighted like any other selected button. There should also be a button to bring up the layers dialog box.
Another possibility: A drop-down list in the toolbar area which shows the current layer and allows 2-click selection of a new layer. This option is probably simpler to implement in the program, and would be somewhat more intuitive.
