Layers and AD
The CAD-softs I've used up to now all had an attribute 'layer' to each entity.
I did use this normally for separating different parts of an assembly i.e. . Another possibility is to separate different 2D-contours, where some entities are just congruent for some reasons.
Every export/import operation of my CAD-files did never loose the layer structure from one system to another. But in AD I cannot find a trace to this feature.
Who can describe how it should work?
Another issue is the import of dxf-files with 3D-coordinates in it. It seems that AD ignores the Z-coordinates. Ist that right?
