In Alibre we have a "Library" tab where we can manage, generate and add to a library. We also have an "Add-on" tab where we have an "Add-on manager" and a "Trace parts library".

Why do we have a separate "Alibre 2D/3D parts library"? Why isn't it included in the "Add-on" tab?

The new library tab is for us to be able to build up libraries of parts that we use that can be generated on the fly. Basic shape is always the same but dimensions differ.
The addon tab is for access to external parts.

Library is a built in internal Alibre function for managing Alibre parts. Add-On's are external 3rd party tools and applications. Trace part library is an extrrnal 3rd party tool!
