Linear Pattern Question

I have a question about using the equation function inside a Linear Pattern. As you can see in the first shot D2 equals 165mm. I want to use this dimension to do a linear pattern as shown in the second screenshot. As you can see D2 is not the 165mm as shown in the first screenshot!!!!

Am I doing something wrong?

You have a circular reference, D2 = D2/C1

I'm not sure of the internal workings of Alibre, but if the RHS evaluates first, you'll get 165mm/6 = 27.5 mm. That then gets assigned to D2, but then it evaluates again, the D2 becomes 27.5mm/6 = 4.58, etc, and very soon you'll end up at ~=0

D2 should be set equal to 165 mm, and either D3 or D4 must be equal to D2/C1
