linking drawings to models

Hello,
In my repository I have multiple folders set up. When I copy a drawing from one folder to another, the linked part model also copies along with the drawing. Is there any way to copy just the drawing and not the part model, and still have the drawing linked to the model in the original folder? I hope this is not too confusing, please ask if you need more details.

A couple of ways.

1. Copy (or Save As) into the original folder. A duplicate will not be made of the associated part or assy. Then MOVE the new drawing to another folder.

2. If you copy into another folder first, then delete the part / assy file(s) that you don't need. When you open the drawing, you will have a Red Node. Use the Replace function and browse to the part file in the original folder.

I am currently using suggestion #2. I was hoping for something quicker, because I have many drawings to copy. Oh well...
