If anyone is interested, I've built one.
You can find it in the downloads section at Australiandynamics.com
Built in python but served as an .exe compiled with pyinstaller for simplicity.
Just extract it where ever you want and create a shortcut. I haven't implemented integration with the Alibre front end due to the nature of how materials are updated and my workflow, however I might if people would like that kind of thing.
For safety I'd recommend making a backup of your .mtl and .pat files.
If you don't have a .pat file, this will generate one for you and populate it with about 10 or so ISO (if I recall correctly) patterns.
This is my first real, complete piece of software that serves a purpose, so feedback and bug reporting is more than welcome.
