in the attached file, i have drawn the top wire form in the pic using lines and arcs.
next i did a Save As and now i want to modify the drawing to match the 2nd from the top drawing and make the overall length ( OAL) longer to 1.737"
so i double click the dimension which is before clicking 1.431", but in the box has a number i don't recognize, 1.463 *2.54-.032 *2.54
because when i drew the line originally i typed in 1.432-.032 which should be 1.431"
now i want to type in 1.737-.032 but does not work.
when I try to modify it, it will not do it, i get and unable to determine .........
so I can redraw but is there a constraint that i can't see or what?
what am i missing.
