Moving part along Z axis?

I have drawn and extruded a part with several planes in it.
I want to move the entire part so that the top is aligned with the xy axis.
Right now the bottom is alinged with the xy axis.
So I need to move all of the features along the Z axis.

How simple is this?
Which command?? Orient to Plane?
I can't seem to find any explanation of Orient to Plane in the help files..... :?:

Thanks

dk,

This is not usually feasible, unless it's a simple part and you can rebuild it in the new orientation. Orient to Plane is a Workspace orientation thing, for Sketching - not relevant for your case.

Why is it important to realign the Part?

Well, every time I import the part to my Lathe CAM program I have to screw around and re-orient/rotate the part to z0.
If it's not so easy to move the part in Alibre, I guess I can extrude the part "backwards" and achieve the same result.

What happens if you position the Part, the way that you want it, in an Assembly and then Export that?

There are various other tricks involving Exporting and Re-Importing but it sounds as though re-building will be reasonably easy.

I just "built" the part from the top down instead of the bottom up (and extruded in "Reverse).
It worked OK, but not as naturally intuitive as the other way.......but it works.
