Could you provide a little more context? That is, a wider shot where it's apparent how the cockpit fits into the larger structural context?

Cheers,

Don't have a clue to what you are asking about with those 2 screenshots. Need more detail, info.

The opening of the airplane needs a cockpit or lid for opening which has two entrances and exits. I sent a second screen shot of the opening and 2D drawing of what it should look like from the top down, but I can't figure how to draw all the curved lines that make it up in the first screen shot. The 2 entrances should swing up and down. And yes, I can't show a full top view of the airplane at this time.
Thank you

Here's a few more screen shots, hope this helps. I can't seem to finish the hatch with windows, exits and entrance. Need help. However if I include to much info, I will need a Disclosure Agreement signed.
Thanks Andi

This is the opening of my airplane in screenshot 1, the second one is a top view of the exit, entrance cockpit. I'm having a hard time trying to create this on Alibre 3D. All the curved areas are hard for me to make. Any help would be appreciated.
Thank You
Andi

I'm a bit confused by your uploaded images. The hole in the fuselage doesn't appear to be the same size and/or shape as the image of the cockpit windows, etc. What are some of the dimensions, if that is not giving away too much information? Do the window area and entrances need to be removable or are they fixed to and become part of the body?

Is this a model airplane or a full size craft? You mention a NDA, is this your own model or for a client?

If there is proprietary information that needs to be protected having a sample model to work with may be helpful to see how you created what you have so far.

Harold,
The first drawing is done with Alibre, the second is via Word 2D. Yes, it's not the same size. I'll can get to dimensions later. The windows are fixed, with the exception of the Exit and Entrance, which is fixed, but on 2 swing up entries. The whole upper body is one part that is bolted to the craft. This is removable for other reasons, (later).
A full-sized craft. Included in the Attachment Confidentiality and Non-Use Agreement. Please sign where checked.
Yes, with the sample model, but I am unable to finish this portion. Motor 1 is 80% done. The second one I haven't started yet.
Thank You

From what I can glean from your images (that you have uploaded four times) it looks like there is some serious 3D sketch work to be done in order to create the cockpit windscreens and exit doors. That is something that I try to avoid whenever possible as it is not as easy in Alibre as it is in, say, SolidWorks.

I'll try anyway as I'm getting tired of learning different 3D drafting programs. But I thought you were the expert at Alibre. Just a last thought, all the images I've drawn had been seen 5 times.
Really, no hiccup.
Thanks

I think that in order to help you out with this, you may need to provide an ad_prt file.

My first thought is that the cockpit portion could be used as a boolean remove tool to shape the bottom of a cover/conopy or similar.

For me, re-modelling everything you have already done, just to experiment with ways to do this sounds like more work than I want to tackle on my only day off this week.

If your NDA prevents you from disclosing a cad file to work with, you may be on your own with this one
