No Feature-Patterns in 3 or 4 axis CAM?

I keep running into Expert Level AlibreCAMs lack of support for Features created using "Feature Pattern ". It's very annoying, as it means I have to go back and copy those features to as many locations as they need to be. Does this limitation only exist in the 2.5 axis ("free") version or does it also apply to the 3 and 4 axis ($) versions?

Features are 3d objects.
You cannot create 2.5d MOPs from 3d objects, just sketches (regions).
To create regions from 3d features, create a new sketch and use the project to sketch (with associativity) tool to sketch the edges of the objects created in the feature pattern.
Add the original sketch and the sketch projected from the pattern edges to the regions in the MOP.
