off topic - optical glass part?

I want to make a precision glass disc about 70mm diameter which I can mount concentrically on a slowly roating shaft. I guess it needs a ground hole in the middle.
I then want to mark it with a ring that is precisely concentric with the centre. That ring wants to have some random variation in its thickness of marking from say 0.1mm to 0.5mm. That variation need not be identical part to part but the radius must be the same.
The glass should be transparent to near IR. The line must be opaque to near IR.
Does anyone here know who can make me such a thing? This will be used for calibration/test so we need only small numbers - like 12 off or less.

Maybe we should have an "off topic" heading for engineering/manufacturing info/exchange cries for help within the alibre community.

Try Heidenhahn in Germany.
They make that kind of optical glass as rulers and disks, very precise.
They are used in measuring machines ect.

kind regards
Oldbelt.

Do it right first time.
