Perspective Views in 2D

I am working on a manual for one of our instruments and it requires a lot of 2D drawings.

When working on the solid model you can switch between the orthograpic view and perspective view. Is there a way of showing the perspective view in the 2D drawing? I figure I could play around with the orientations in the solid and save the view and then use the isometric view in the 2D but that is a lot of trial and error work and I am looking for something simple.

Would a screen capture of 3D view in wireframe mode be any use? - at least you can use the perspective view.

No, too much showing. All lines are visible including hidden.

Export to 3d pdf, use illustration mode and turn on perspective view.
now you can make as much screenshots as you want

The topic link from NateLiqGrav was very helpful. I downloaded the Inkscape program and it seems to be the cat's meow.
