This option has a bug in it with drawings when the thread has a keyway through it.
When creating a drawing which has an external thread with a keyway through it, the cosmetic threads and callout detail will not appear if the end of the thread has a chamfer on it.
I have just tried this with both the built in chamfer option in the external thread window and a separate chamfer both before and after the thread.
This may seem a small thing but it is highly frustrating!
