Point at Intersection of 3D Spline and Plane

How probable is to add the option/command of inserting a Point @ Intersection of 3D Spline or Spline and a Plane?, can we expect an improvement on working with curved surfaces or splines in general (example: line from intersection of surface (curved) and plane?) everything else so far is looking good, speed is fine, also can we have in explorer the option to isolate a part or parts? to be able to work with.

Thanks

I assume your initial question of determining the point of intersection of a spline and a plane was more for an added feature to GD but determining the point was an interesting problem.
So here is one method of finding the intersection of a 3D spline and a plane.
Draw the 3D spline and then draw a 2D sketch that will be used to create a swept boss section.
Either insure that the spline crosses the desired plane or insert a plane as needed.
Do a section view using the object plane as a cutting plane.
Open a 2D sketch using the object plane and then do a project to sketch to obtain a reference sketch to determine the intersection point.
Probably the simplest geometry would be an “arrow” with the tip on the spline instead of the circle shown in the attached image.
The sweep can be suppressed or deleted as desired.

Other methods world be nice to see.

Thank you will try the way you explained, hope one day we can do this just by selecting spline and plane or face, thank you again for your help
