Printing a name on a radius

I am trying to put a name on a radius on a drawing of a traction engine smokebox door using Alibre Atom 3D. I have drawn it by placing individual letters and changing the angle of the following letters.
Is there a more accurate of doing this. I hope to make a 3d print that I can then use to cast the door

Currently the best option is to use specialist engraving software and transfer the text vis (say) DXF. You can get hold of DeskEngrave for free, and there are more modern tools which are very reasonably priced.

Wrap doesn't help with text along an arc. Once you have the text along arc, you can use wrap to 'drape' it onto the non flat face.

Sorry, I interpreted this as him wanting to put text on the outside of a cylindrical radius (diameter).

I've been working on an Alibre Script for doing text curved at a radius around a point - it is basic but works - but it only works on Pro and Expert level. I have to polish the function a bit and create a GUI for it yet.

I use Corel Draw when I need to do this. There is a free program called Inkscape that should allow you to do this as well, then export a dxf file and use that for getting what you need in Alibre.
