Moyesboy,

This is my attempt.

Not quite the same proportions as in the photo, though.

I bored a hole down the centre, to make it easier to machine :wink:

The geometry is not quite perfect - there's a very small 'flashing' near the centre of the helix, at the end. Also, the round end doesn't resolve into the slot, perfectly smoothly, as you can see.

It's pretty impressive that Alibre can handle things like this.
