Redefine

When a surface, plane or reference is moved or deleted and the feature becomes italic there needs to be a way for users to redefine references for sketches the same way users can redefine constraints in assemblies.

yes, Yes, YES! This is a great suggestion.

I have had instances where one "target not found" error cascaded down to about 10 lower features. Of course I had to rebuild all of those features since fixing the original offender apparently changed it such that the next feature then threw "target not found" then the next, then the next....

I know it’s the domino effect and takes a while fix depending on where it's stops when it could have been corrected at the beginning source.

If this were addressed, you could delete a reference and attach a defferent one. I don't know how many times I wished I had started a sketch on a different plane and now I am too invested in the design to start over again.
