I'm trying to figure out the best way to copy a spline curve I created to use as a revolve cut in an assembly. any hints or tips?

Whether the spline curve is in a part sketch or on a 2D drawing edit the sketch and copy it. In the assembly start a sketch on the plane or face of you choosing then use RMB Paste or Paste Stamper (the better option) to place the sketch.

Thanks David. I have a complicated assembly that I am trying to revolve cut. It has 4681 parts. After setting the coordinate geometry of the assembly to align to center in 3 axis, now I'm trying to get the model workspace to allow me to 3d sketch. Maybe I will need to export the model and then re import as a single part. I tried the Boolean command and had an error message.

There is no 3D sketch in Assembly workspace. I'm not clear why you would want/need 3D sketch anyway for a revolve cut.

I'm probably mis-understanding what you are attempting.
