saving other pics as backgrounds

OK, I am excited about this. I am stumbling around in PhotoRender and have become much more enlightened. Wanted to share this with the group in case other PhotoRender novices might benefit.

There are only 3 exterier images (photos) that can be used as backgroung by default in the archive. I have always wondered how to get another image to be a background (and this works for color too). I found the following in the AD web site knowlege base:

Title: Saving the Background in Photorender
Summary: How to save your background in Photorender

Check on Tools > Editors > Advanced.
Go to Archives tab.
Go to folder Scenery > Backgrounds > Image > Exterior.
Drag one of images into the view port.
Go to Editors tab.
In the Background area, choose the file containing your image.
Set properties of your background image.
Go to Schemes tab.
Click on the Background
Save Background
File > Save Rendering Entities
This will save the background icon under the Schemes folder name. From here, you can click on the background that you need.

This is sooo... cool. :D

Nice! Thanks for the tip. I sure wish there were some type of documentation for PhotoRender that went into detail like this for all of the many many non-obvious functions available.
