setting note font

hi all

is there a way to pre set the note font eg size / type
i have had a look thru the file properties, but cant see any setting for the note

Andrew,
I presume you are talking about drawing notes you can set them in the File Properties dialog under Annotations.

Once you select the "A" button you'll get the Font dialog:

Remember to select the "Set current. . ." button in File Properties to make your selection the default.

In the Part and Assembly work space the Font setting is located in the Dimension section of the File Properties.

thanks, if you set via that dialog, changs are not reflexed in a new drawing..not sure why
I understand the settings must be set in the drawing template, which i did

When i then use the template the font is not set..strange but i can work with it

New 2D drawing inherit properties from the template used.

So - edit the template, or make a new template for your own use - that way new drawings will inherit properties. This applies equally to dimension styles & layers.
