Fist of all i want to apologyze my poor english.
Maybe it would be interesting to have forums in native languages to express opinions in a more adequate way. This may be a suggestion for forum administrators or perhaps I should use more tools like Google translate although I do not know if sometimes some idea is lost in this process.
However, the main reason for this new topic is to express the need to be able to reach a client with a design without having to use a specific viewer or program.
I have a small consulting company, I want to channel my knowledge in two ways, one is to show the designs I have made (not only photos) and the other is software development (naturally 100% web)
The solution offered by alibre in terms of PDF 3D is fantastic, it allowed me to generate a 3d pdf design on a sheet and that could be used on the cover of reports and / or its content.
However, sometimes I feel the need to present the information on a website or web-type reports (my resume for example is not just a word or pdf file, it is a website)
I see that the web support for pdf files is increasingly limited, many browsers that allowed an integration now do not allow it, the same adobe explains it. (1) NPAPI support has been removed and in some browser it is no longer possible watch.
So what alternative do I have? Well an interesting alternative is WEBGL (3). I have the Simlab composer product which is a Simlab Soft plug-in for Alibre. It is very complex and interesting but at the same time the generated file is sometimes heavy. They have a viewer that I can use on my tablet or android phone. (sorry I do not use iphone and I do not know solutions for it) (2)
a free open source software, very powerful and useful for drawing sketches of houses, has attracted my attention (4). They have a plugin that works perfectly on the web (5) (export to html5), even allows a VR type vision of the model, such as walking around the house. and the same digital model is possible to see it on a mobile or tablet, I would like to indicate the link to a page of my projects that I successfully use this plugin. (6)
Please take all this information as a suggestion, a way to guide the designs made. I would be happy to be able to publish a design of alibre in this way and be able to have an additional sales argument.
If the code is open I imagine that you can study it and / or make adaptations more easily. but only the experts in this subject know it. The truth is that this possibility of showing designs the fact of less in alibre.
