Show me the decimal place, please!

Am I missing something here ?
I want all my dimensions to show the decimal place (precision) even if the figure is whole, this is because I have noted the general tolerances in my title block eg: X0.0 - plus/minus 0.1.
Why do I have to manually overide the dimension (unlink it) in order to to show the precision, hope this makes sense?

You need to edit the dimension style (or set up a new one to use). Dimension styles are inherited from Templates so you might want to modify or set up new template.

See image - set precision to required number of decimal places, ensure suppress trailing zeroes is NOT checked.
