Dear Alibre, or Max,
May be have a subforum for SimWise Motion for Alibre?

Requested of "Alibre," <support@alibre.freshdesk.com> for "updated" Dynamics from DST, previous purchased, with current maintenance for Alibre.
Thank you Max and Christina.

DST supplied download of "SimWise Motion for Alibre," version 9.8.0.2790, at no additional current charge.
Than you "Alan Wegienka" <alan.wegienka@design-simulation.com>
My version is 2 user, node locked version. ("only one license")

Download, Installation, and Activation was simple and quick.
This apparent replacement for "Dynamics," includes Core (Viewing), Animation, and Motion Analysis.

Future maintenance was unspecified, the DST forum was not accessible, and the product was not yet described on the DST website...
(Clarification has been requested.)

This is an email from Alan at DST, to myself, which clears up a few things.
I see no harm in posting it. (I do not think that various license agreements guarantee that a product will work in perpetuity :)

Hi Brian,
Glad to hear things went well. To answer your questions:

1.The product will continue to operate even if you do not renew maintenance, but you can only use the latest version that was released while you were under maintenance.
2.When your maintenance is up for renewal, you will get a notice from us.
3.We are planning to add some page to our web site that cover the SimWise Alibre products, but what specifically are you looking for?
4.Our forum is out of commission right now. It is on the list of things we need to fix.

Does "SimWise Motion for Alibre" open "Dynamics for Geomagic Design" .WM3 files?

Yes, based upon one trial: The rolling coin .WM3 file opened and ran.
