Hello Alibre gurus,

I am very new to Alibre.

I am looking to annotate my 2D drawing for a model to indicate a spotface on a surface. This is a standard symbol and it does not appear under Feature Control Frame. It isn't in the Help either. I've searched the forums.

Am I missing something obvious? What are folks doing for spotfaces? I can imagine workarounds, and I'd prefer to simply annotate with the Feature Control Frame.

The Spotface and Counter Bore symbol is not a GDT symbol. That's why you don't see it in the Feature Control Frame tool. You add it with the Hole Callout (if you used the Hole tool to create the hole and spotface/C-bore feature) or with a Note.

Thanks, so for others searching on this:
I tried to use a callouts in the annotations, and it tells me to insert a bill of materials.
I did use the hole tool for the hole in question - and the hole callout was already there (Id id not recognize it for what it was) as a note. Editing that gave me an option for the spotface symbol.
