Start up error message

:( Although I'm not absolutely positive that this may be the cause of my problem, I recently installed Acid Pro 6.0 along with .net framework 1.1 (I already had .net framework 2 installed but needed 1.1 to install Acid) and launched Alibre Design Expert 9.0 SP1 (which up until this latest install did not produce any error messages) shortly thereafter. The following error message appeared:

-----------------------------------------------------------------
MDM Zinc V2 Error Handler

Form Name: MainForm
Form Type: NormalForm

{mdm}script v2 method: mdm.initialise

parameter(s):""
frame number: 1

zinc error: Access violation at address 00507CC6 in module 'quickstartvideo.exe'
read of address 04B80002 (no arguments given)
------------------------------------------------------------------

When I select 'yes' or 'no' (to debug) the following message appears:

-------------------------------------------------------------------
Quick Start Guide
Invalid floating point operation
-------------------------------------------------------------------

I originally had the quicktime videos load at start up and I know how to disable this feature but I would still like to know how to solve this current problem.

Any assistance with this would be greatly appreciated. In advance, thank you for your help.

I am not sure that Alibre requirement says it uses .net 1.1 or 2 but maybe a reinstall of Alibre would correct whatever went crazy.
