Sub assembly locked when inserted in main assembly

Hi Guys
In my old version of Alibre I had no problems but now I have.

I have created a linked bar mechanism that via alignments of holes works perfectly when I move the inpuy linkage bar.

As soon as I insert it in any assembly, it behaves like a solid part and I can't move the sub assemblys individual linking bars anymore.

Seems like it is a generel problem for any sub assembly/sub

Is the only solution to build it all up in only 1 main assembly or should I post a ticket.

Or is there something I don't know?

Have you set 'Make Flexible' for the sub-assembly within the main assembly?

Hi Christian -- "RMB" select the SubAssy in the Design Explorer and select "Make Flexible." -- Lew
