Substractive scan

Need help for substarative scan.
I do not understand the meaning of the error message.
I am trying to make a substractive scan of the esquisse 7 following esquisse 8.

Your sweep profile extended beyond the axis of the arc in the guide curve. AD doesn't like that. I shortened the profile and it works.

thanks for the help. I am not sure I undersdand! Is it because when it rotates it protudes the piece of wood?
