Support is optional. You could buy the upgrade without but then you are stuck at a version until going renewing.

Sticking with Atom for now.I upgraded from atom to pro and have no regrets the additional features are well worth the additional cost . BTW $50- 350 dollars is only for maintenance and not a subscription!!!
