Unable to amend drawing

Hi

My issue is I drew a part, it was sent of to be tooled as an IGUS file. They made some amendments and sent it back as an Igus file.

Now I can no longer do anything with it. I have a friend with solid works who can and has made amendments to the file.

Is there any way I can make Alibre modify the drawing as I have to make some amendments my self now.

I have attached the file as a Alibre AD_PRT file so you can try your self.

Export to ACIS 10.0 and import that file with repair and tolerance option activated, that should make it

I can now amend the drawing but extrude now cuts and cut does something else.

Is there are a way to make it usable like normal editing?

If you have them; using the direct editing tools is usually the best way to modify imported solids. However since you have the original parametric Alibre file it may be easiest to simply recreate the changes they made on your original and proceed as usual.

It is possible that they sent back an IGES drawing and we do not take in 2D IGES files, do you know if this is the case?
