Updating

I have a current maintenance contract on my Geomagic design, and would like to update to the Version 17. But when I go to the downloads page, the file that is downloaded is Geomagic_V2014_15088_x64.exe.
Is this the correct file? I already have PRODUCTVERSION 15,0,2,15088

You will need your 16 character activation code (should have been e-mailed to you previously - Geomagic or your reseller can retrieve this for you).

Uninstall v15 be fore attempting to install v17

I updated my laptop without first uninstalling V16. Seemed to work ok. Did not ask me for the activation code. Is there something that I am missing on proper procedure to make V17 work properly?

I did the same and it has worked fine.
I think that in that case you do not need the activation code again, you do, I would presume, if you uninstall.

It may be different when updating from older versions.

I wasn't answering a question about updating from v16, but from v15.

You aren't missing anything in your update process.
