Are they dubbed over there like some of the Japanese cartoons are here? Do you watch many American movies? When I was in Sweden they watched many American movies there but around 60% or more spoke some English.

Exactly, Tim.
I am right now dubbing "Life on Mars" tonight, though. (This is Great Britain accent, isn't it.)
Also, you can watch them "Project Free TV".
My wife loves CSI series and watch them via Megavideo.
Basically, I am the only one who sees on Web, since there is no subtitles.

My kids love "Hanna Montana" , yeah!(I did learn, Scott).

Although, many English movies are watched, Japanese are mute as you expect.
