Visual Mill vs. Sprutcam
Hello all,
I recently purchased a 3-axis CNC mill and I am interested in the 3rd party CAM packages that Alibre offers. I am completely new to machining and CAM so I would like some input from any of you that have used Visual Mill or Sprutcam on the benefits/drawbacks of each program. I have the demo versions of both and they seem to be very easy to use. However, being that I am completely new I really do not know what to look for in a CAM package. Do any of you have any recommendations as to which would be a better choice: Buying Visual Mill Basic outright or upgrading to Alibre Expert to get the 1yr license of Sprutcam?
