Why doesn't section A-A generate a correct cross section like B-B does?

I have had this many many times. My only conclusion is: another Alibre graphical bug.

I see... thanks! Is there any way around it?
I've found that as long as A-A is not centered, just offset and parallel to the central line it works... but of course, that mess up the dimensions.

Looks like, you have this trouble with an imported part. (STEP AP 214)
Please upload your 3D part, or much better, submit a support request with your 3D file,
before this 3D file was imported.

In conventional American drafting practice a Section View is required to be projected away from the direction that the Section Arrows point. DIN practice is reversed. [Third Angle Projection vs. First Angle Projection -- I suspect (but do not know) that the Section Arrow Direction reverses if First Angle Projection is selected.
