Working on a Conveyor... probably need to pay for motion

I have a chain on edge conveyor I'm working on and for me to put the system thru it's paces I'm guessing there is no other way to do it other than cough up the extra $200 for the motion upgrade. Basically I want to see how the chain with it's fixtures interacts with the sprockets as each fixture passes thru a checking station. I could see how I could just use constraints to pull the chain along the rail if it were only a straight section but not how constraints would work as the chain rounds the sprocket and changes direction. My checking station happens to be right at the corner, plus I even if you could pull the chain thru a radius it would not be a proper motion thru the sprocket. The chain cogs around the sprocket, and with the chain having a 4 inch pitch it would be noticeable.
