I just lost all hard work for the last 5 days.

So I am wondering if someone has a script to back up the models files automaticity?

Alibre has the ability to do backups of OPEN FILES in the Options. I really hope you didn't have something open for 5 days without saving it though.

If you're talking about drive, software, or human failures causing SAVED FILES to be lost then I'd suggest looking at existing incremental backup software.

An Alibre Script could be made for such a thing - however it gets very complicated very quickly and would need to be ran each time you use the file.

An AutoHotkey script could be made for such a thing and run in the background - however it gets very complicated very quickly as well.

Yes I do have backups but in this case even the backups are currupted.

It was just a thought that's all. I thinking the script would zip the part or assembly parts then save that zip file saved.

Incremental, versioning, and or archive backup software most likely would have prevented that. Each has similar goals but slightly different methods. Some do more than one.

Incremental will save an initial backup and then backup differences between the current and precious versions. M-files does have this backup ability (as well as versioning).

For my personal files I use iDrive paid cloud backup that keeps archive copies of previous backups. https://www.idrive.com/

If paid cloud backup isn't your thing I found (but haven't tested) this freeware versioning backup software. http://beanland.net.au/autover/

Software such as File Hamster has been mentioned in the past - pretty simple to use and there is a free version.
