Helical gear

I have old Alibre 2011 expert and I have a problem. I need to make helical gear. 2D sketch is easy and I have tooth profile there. But my old alibre doesn't allow helical boss because it requires reference line. If it could use reference axis then it would be easy.

Older versions had to have the reference line (helix axis) in the same plane as profile sketch - so you are correct a helical gear would be extremely challenging to say the least. After the helical tools were upgraded this become much simpler.

Your other option would be to use additional offset sketches each with the profile rotated slightly, then Loft between them.
