I regenerated each and every feature without a hitch and without any delays. Did you guys use the Step File or Re-save it as an Alibre Part File??

Regen E5 7 seconds
Save as Alibre Part File 20 seconds

I have been playing around with your part... I saved it as a part fle and then opened it again. I edited a few dimensions and regenerated it. It took a couple of seconds but the part regenerated. I made a drawing file with it and that worked. One thing I could not find was a reference dimension for the hole size under the S12 and noticed the DOF is 255. I am running Vista 32 with a Intel Core 2, 2.4 HZ Quad, 2GB DDR3 memory and a Nvidia Geforce GTX9800 graphics card. The graphics driver is dated 12/2008.

The part file seems to be valid on my system.... gary

Gary,
Interesting, how many active users there are in this forum. 8)

Ok, Steves file works well on some computers BUT not on other computers.
Now we can investigate why it is so.
I have two computers with Vista (32 & 64 bit ) without problems, but one computer with XP SP3 (32bit) when I try to regenerate -> Freezing.
XP problem?
I think No, because Nate had no problems with XP.
Let us pursue the issue factually / technically and not in "Dominator" mode.

There are many many possibilities. Maybe an Antivirus or another program is conflicting? Maybe bad memory module? Maybe processor is not good at certain math?... Many maybes.

Adding to the "Maybe's" maybe Windows Updates. Sometimes I have problems after Windows decides to update. Occasionally it takes Rolling Back Drivers.

It is too tough to say exactly what is causing the problem.

I would start by Uninstalling Alibre then Cleaning the Hard Drive with RegCure.
Defragment the Hard Drive, then Reinstall Alibre.

Makes me hate computers.

I am so far really disappointed with V11.2 the bugs that prevent me editing or recreating or creating some new parts are still present, the only way around the problem is to keep V10 on my laptop to edit or create some new parts I find this situation completely unacceptable and I am surprised that others are not experiencing similar difficulties.

Cheers

Steve
