I took the plunge

Well I took the plunge.
Coughed up the dough to buy Design Expert.
Just need the time to learn how to use it now.
I guess it'll be like most things . . . . I need to put the hours in to get used to it.
I expect I'll be getting stuck and asking on here for help quite a bit too so please bear with me if I ask things that seem quite basic to you more experienced users.

When I was hired to work for RIVCO, I'd never heard of Alibre Design. Spent my first 2 weeks rolling my face across the keyboard just to see what happened. When that stopped working, I found these forums. That was...2008?

Point is, you're in good hands.

Thanks for the welcome. I'm glad I decided to go for it. I installed it late afternoon yesterday and had time for a very quick look. I'm VERY impressed but still need to spend a lot of time getting used to the slightly different way of doing things.
Eventually it will all slot into place.
