open solidworks drawing file

I thought I could open a solidworks file, but it looks like Alibre will not open a drawing file slddrw, just part and assembly?

Correct, not SW drawings.

Yes I thought that too until I tried to open one.
But I can understand it as the drawing is linked to the model with all of the history.

See if you can get the drawing as a DXF and import/open that.

I was given a PDF and imported into 4MCad (Hope I'm allowed to say that)
