STL File Size Enormous for Very Small Part

Hi. I'm new to Alibre. I've used AutoDesk Inventor for years. I just made a very small 40mm diameter part and exported it as an STL. The file size ended up being 1.4G! The STP file became 32KB. Any idea why the STL file is so huge. I've made STLs for several years when 3D printing designs. I've never had a STL file this big. Even for very very large parts. Anyone else experience this? I'm not finding settings anywhere to assist with this. Any way to makes these STL file sizes smaller?

It's probably set too fine which will make the file size huge.

Welcome to the forum Josh.
I'm an ex Inventor user too. Not got used to Alibre myself yet. (Been too busy on other things)
But I love what I see.
