Totally agree I did drop off this year after 10 years the conversation I had with two sales folks did not encourage me that Mechanical Design was the future of the software formally know as Alibre 3D printing seems to be the push and focus. I have no problem jumping back in IF they change direction.

I should have said the Alibre step file so all of the anchor were intact but now it shows interference. I have stated to troubleshoot at it seems for some reason all of the parts shifted about .125. The assembly is big with only about 200 or so parts hopefully it wont take too long to correct.

Is this really a major update or a dot release? When I look at what's new pdf it does not come close to what some said that sales or some inside person at 3DS told them about dramatic changes coming with the next update. I'm thinking this was more about the new licence policy and nothing else...

Wow, sales did not give you any information and they did not even try to get you to renew. It is worst than I thought. My time for renew is this month lets see if I get the cold shoulder also.

I don't know if this new company believes in beta's that would give us an early idea of what they are working on.

The new company does not talk about releases until it is release. There is no more communication with the users about progress or things they might be working on. You just have to wait and see kind of like Christmas.
